Frequently Asked Questions
Active8 MAX is a physician-formulated daily inflammation and performance support supplement designed for people who want to stay active, move comfortably, and continue doing the things they enjoy without constantly feeling sore, stiff, or worn down. Whether it comes from workouts, golf, travel, long workdays, repetitive strain, or simply an active lifestyle, inflammation builds up over time and affects how the body feels, performs, and functions day to day. Many active people rely on frequent NSAID use and caffeine just to stay comfortable, energized, and physically capable during demanding activities. Active8 MAX was created as a natural daily support formula designed to help the body manage inflammation more efficiently so people can stay active, feel more comfortable, maintain better mobility, feel more physically capable, and perform consistently without feeling held back by inflammation.
Active8 MAX, as the name implies, was designed to help people stay active by supporting healthy inflammatory balance while also helping provide the energy, focus, mobility, and physical comfort many people need to perform consistently throughout the day. Using a physician-formulated blend of natural ingredients, Active8 MAX helps support how the body responds to physical stress, inflammation, demanding activity, and day-to-day wear and tear so people can move more comfortably, feel more physically capable, and maintain an active lifestyle.
Active8 MAX was designed for people who refuse to slow down. Whether it's workouts, golf, demanding jobs, travel, long days, or simply staying active, Active8 MAX helps support healthy inflammatory balance, sustained energy, mental focus, physical comfort, and consistent day-to-day performance so people can feel better, stay sharper, and continue doing the things they enjoy at a high level.
Active8 MAX is for people who want to feel better, stay sharp, and continue performing at a high level throughout busy, demanding lives. From athletes and golfers to busy parents, executives, travelers, laborers, and active adults, many people use Active8 MAX to help support daily comfort, energy, focus, and physical performance so they can keep doing the things they enjoy without feeling slowed down by inflammation, soreness, stiffness, or physical fatigue.
Active8 MAX contains a physician-selected blend of natural ingredients including turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, amla, acai, reishi, chaga, and piperine, all chosen to help support healthy inflammatory balance, energy, focus, physical comfort, and sustained day-to-day performance. Each ingredient was selected for a specific purpose because inflammation, physical comfort, energy, mental sharpness, and overall physical function are all closely connected in how the body feels and performs. Rather than relying on a single ingredient alone, Active8 MAX was intentionally formulated as a coordinated blend designed to help people stay active, feel better, and perform consistently throughout the day.
Active8 MAX is a physician-formulated blend of natural ingredients designed to help support healthy inflammatory balance, sustained energy, mental focus, physical comfort, and day-to-day performance without relying on caffeine, ephedrine, or synthetic stimulants. Many people describe the difference as feeling more alert, focused, physically capable, and energized throughout the day without the crash commonly associated with stimulant-based products.
Active people know the feeling of hitting a wall halfway through the day — not because they lack motivation, but because their body feels worn down, stiff, drained, and slower than they want to be. Active8 MAX was designed to help people stay energized, sharp, comfortable, and physically ready for whatever the day throws at them. By supporting healthy inflammatory balance, sustained energy, mental focus, and physical performance, Active8 MAX helps many people feel more productive, more capable, and better able to keep up with demanding schedules, workouts, travel, workdays, and active lifestyles from morning to night.
Many anti-inflammatory supplements rely heavily on a single ingredient like turmeric or fish oil. Active8 MAX was designed differently. It combines multiple natural ingredients selected to work together to support healthy inflammatory balance, comfort, mobility, sustained energy, and day-to-day performance. The philosophy behind the formula is that no single ingredient works at its full potential in isolation. Active8 MAX was intentionally formulated as a symphony of ingredients designed to complement one another and support how the body responds to physical stress, inflammation, activity, and daily wear and tear. The result is broader, more complete support than simply taking a single anti-inflammatory ingredient alone.
Yes. Staying active and mobile over time depends heavily on how well the body manages inflammation and physical stress. When inflammation builds up, many people begin to notice more stiffness, discomfort, reduced flexibility, and less physical resilience during everyday activities. Many people take Active8 MAX daily as part of their long-term wellness routine. Active8 MAX combines multiple natural ingredients designed to work together in a balanced formula to support healthy inflammatory balance, comfort, mobility, and day-to-day performance. The goal is broader, more complete daily support so people can continue living active lifestyles and doing the things they enjoy consistently.
Yes. Physical activity naturally creates stress and inflammation in the body, especially after intense workouts, sports, golf, repetitive movement, or physically demanding days. By supporting healthy inflammatory balance and day-to-day comfort, Active8 MAX helps many active people feel less stiff, more comfortable, more mobile, and more physically capable after activity so they can continue performing consistently and staying active. For people involved in intense training, competitive athletics, or more demanding recovery routines, many choose to combine Active8 MAX with Heal8+ for more comprehensive recovery and mobility support.
Active8 MAX includes turmeric, but it was not designed to be just another turmeric supplement. Turmeric can be helpful, but joint comfort, flexibility, and inflammatory balance usually require more than a single ingredient working alone. Active8 MAX was formulated with turmeric plus ginger, cinnamon, amla, acai, reishi, chaga, and piperine, creating a broader natural formula designed to support healthy inflammatory balance, comfort, mobility, and day-to-day physical function. That combination is what makes Active8 MAX different from basic turmeric capsules or single-ingredient joint support products. For people dealing with stiffness or discomfort in the knees, hips, ankles, back, shoulders, or other joints, Active8 MAX was designed to provide more complete daily support so they can move more comfortably and stay active consistently.
Many people report noticeable improvements in comfort, stiffness, and mobility within hours of taking Active8 MAX, with others noticing significant improvement within the first couple of days. The speed of response depends on the level of inflammation, physical stress, activity level, and overall health, but many users are surprised by how quickly they begin feeling better. Many active people rely heavily on frequent NSAID use just to stay comfortable during workouts, golf, travel, physically demanding work, and other daily activities. Active8 MAX was designed as a natural daily support formula for people looking to support healthy inflammatory balance and long-term physical comfort without relying solely on frequent NSAID use and the concerns many people have about long-term NSAID side effects.
Yes. Active8 MAX was designed to work both as a standalone daily inflammation and comfort support formula and as part of the broader NiHealth wellness system. Many people combine Active8 MAX with Heal8+ for more advanced recovery and mobility support, Sense8 for nerve comfort and cognitive support, and Pulse8 for circulation and cardiovascular wellness. Because the formulas were intentionally designed to complement one another, many customers find stacking products allows them to create a more complete wellness routine tailored to their lifestyle, activity level, and health goals.
Yes. Active8 MAX was specifically designed for consistent daily use as part of a long-term wellness and active lifestyle routine. Many Active8 MAX users prefer taking it proactively as part of their regular wellness regimen to help them stay active, comfortable, energized, and physically capable long term.
Take one to two Active8 MAX capsules daily with a meal, preferably earlier in the day, as part of your regular wellness routine. Many people take one capsule with breakfast and another with lunch depending on their activity level and wellness goals, or as directed by their healthcare professional. Because Active8 MAX was designed to support physical comfort, mobility, energy, focus, and day-to-day performance, many users report feeling more alert, active, and physically capable while taking it consistently. For that reason, many people prefer not to take it late in the evening.
Why does my body feel like it's running out of fuel halfway through the day?
For a lot of people, the day doesn't really start until caffeine takes over. Coffee in the morning. Another cup at 10. Maybe something else at 3 just to get through the rest of the day.
It's easy to assume that's simply part of getting older or staying busy.
But sometimes what feels like an energy problem isn't just about needing more stimulation.
Your body is constantly responding to physical stress. A hard workout. A long day on your feet. Joints and muscles that don't bounce back as quickly as they once did. The stiffness you notice after sitting too long. The soreness that hangs around longer than you expect.
Physical stress doesn't affect the body in just one way.
That's the idea behind Active8 MAX.
The Daily Wear You Feel
Exercise is physical stress. So is repetitive movement, a demanding day, and simply asking your body to keep performing day after day.
Usually your body adapts and recovers.
But you notice when recovery isn't keeping pace.
You feel it when your muscles stay sore. When your joints feel stiff. When yesterday's activity follows you into today. When it takes longer to feel ready to go again.
That's why we didn't build Active8 MAX around simply giving you another stimulant.
We built it to provide nutritional support for some of the processes involved in how your body handles physical stress and recovery.
Supporting a Healthy Inflammatory Response
Inflammation is part of the body's normal response to physical stress. The goal isn't to eliminate that response. It's to support the body's ability to keep it in healthy balance.
Turmeric and Ginger were selected in part because their naturally occurring compounds have been studied for inflammatory response, joint comfort, muscle soreness, and recovery following physical activity.
Rather than trying to make you feel artificially energized, this part of the formula is about supporting the body that's doing the work.
Helping Defend Against Oxidative Stress
Physical activity and everyday metabolism also produce oxidative stress. Your body has its own antioxidant defenses, but nutrition can help support them.
Amla, Acai Berry, Pomegranate, Ceylon Cinnamon, and Reishi provide naturally occurring plant compounds associated with antioxidant activity.
They weren't selected because antioxidants are fashionable words to put on a label. They were selected because oxidative stress is another part of the broader physical picture Active8 MAX was designed to address.
Supporting Recovery From Physical Activity
Recovery isn't one event. It's a collection of processes that allow the body to respond to what you've asked it to do and prepare to do it again.
Ginger has human research involving muscle soreness following exercise. Pomegranate has been studied for post-exercise recovery, strength recovery, soreness, and inflammatory markers. Turmeric compounds have also been investigated in exercise-recovery research.
The studies don't all use the same forms or amounts found in Active8 MAX, which is why we show the research and the studied doses separately in The Research section.
But that research helped inform why these ingredients earned a place in the formula.
Why Eight Ingredients?
Active8 MAX wasn't created by finding one popular ingredient and asking it to carry the entire formula.
Turmeric and Ginger contribute one set of nutritional properties. Amla, Acai, Pomegranate, Cinnamon, and Reishi contribute others. Piperine was included alongside turmeric and has been studied for its effect on curcumin bioavailability, although the amounts used in that research were higher than the amount in Active8 MAX.
Each ingredient has a job to do, and each was selected for the role it plays within the broader formula.
That's the thinking behind Active8 MAX: support the body across several aspects of physical stress and recovery rather than approaching the problem from only one direction.
Energy Without Another Stimulant
Active8 MAX isn't caffeine, and it isn't an energy drink.
We didn't formulate it to create an artificial spike that wears off a few hours later.
We formulated it for people who want to support the body underneath their energy: how it responds to physical stress, how it handles oxidative stress, and how it recovers from the demands placed on it every day.
Because sometimes the better question isn't:
"What can I take to give myself another burst of energy?"
It's:
"What can I do to better support the body I'm asking to keep going?"
Coffee should be a choice. Not a requirement.

THE RESEARCH BEHIND ACTIVE8 MAX
Active8 MAX combines eight ingredients selected to support a balanced inflammatory response, antioxidant protection, joint and muscle comfort, and recovery from daily physical stress. Each ingredient was selected for a specific role within the broader formula. Below is some of the human research behind those ingredients.
Turmeric — 250mg
Turmeric's active compounds, curcuminoids, have been studied in a 2022 systematic review and meta-analysis of 29 randomized controlled trials across several forms of arthritis, using curcumin extract doses ranging from 120mg to 1500mg.
A separate randomized, placebo-controlled crossover trial examined a bioavailable turmeric formulation in relation to muscle soreness and recovery following exercise.
Whole turmeric powder, as used in Active8 MAX, contains a much smaller percentage of curcuminoids than concentrated extracts used in much of the clinical research, so these studied doses should not be treated as equivalent to the 250mg of turmeric in Active8 MAX.

Ginger Root — 125mg
A randomized, placebo-controlled trial studied 125mg per day of a concentrated gingerol extract in adults with mild to moderate joint pain, examining joint pain, physical function, and inflammatory markers.
A separate human trial using a much larger amount, 2g of ginger per day for 11 days, reported reductions in muscle pain following eccentric exercise.
The 125mg study is the closer dose comparison to Active8 MAX. The muscle-soreness study provides additional human research involving ginger and exercise recovery, but the amount studied was substantially higher than the 125mg contained in Active8 MAX.
Ceylon Cinnamon — 150mg
Studied in a randomized, double-blind, controlled trial using 1000mg per day for 12 weeks examining glucose and lipid-related outcomes.
The studied amount was more than six times the amount of Ceylon Cinnamon in Active8 MAX.
Indian Gooseberry (Amla) — 150mg
Studied in randomized human trials examining vascular function, oxidative stress, inflammatory markers, and lipid-related outcomes.
The preparations and amounts used in these studies were higher than the amount of Amla contained in Active8 MAX.
Acai Berry — 150mg
Human research involving berries and oxidative-stress biomarkers has produced mixed results. Some interventions have demonstrated changes in antioxidant measures, while others have not demonstrated significant differences from placebo.
Acai contains naturally occurring antioxidant compounds, but the human clinical evidence remains more limited and inconsistent than the research supporting some of the other ingredients in Active8 MAX.
Reishi — 150mg
Studied in human research involving immune function, including a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial using a standardized beta-glucan preparation derived from Ganoderma lucidum.
Because that research used a concentrated standardized preparation, the results should not be assumed to translate directly to the form or amount of Reishi contained in Active8 MAX.
Pomegranate — 150mg
Pomegranate has been studied in randomized human trials examining exercise recovery, muscle soreness, strength recovery, oxidative stress, and inflammatory markers.
The preparations and amounts used in much of this research differ from the 150mg of Pomegranate contained in Active8 MAX, and results across the broader pomegranate literature are not uniform.

Piperine — 2.5mg
Piperine has been studied for its ability to increase curcumin bioavailability.
In a small human pharmacokinetic study, 20mg of piperine administered with 2g of curcumin substantially increased curcumin bioavailability.
Active8 MAX contains a considerably smaller amount of piperine, and its 250mg of turmeric is not equivalent to 2g of isolated curcumin. Therefore, the magnitude of the bioavailability effect demonstrated in that study should not be assumed for Active8 MAX.
